Project Coordinator
Leader of the Yggdrasil project, whose roles include identifying and prioritising the species to be sequenced, acquisition of appropriate resources, and ensuring integration of our efforts with other similar reference genome sequencing efforts.

Project Manager
Responsible for facilitating project delivery, including oversight of strategy and workplan activities; monitoring progress; liaising with the project team supporting development and maintenance of the project brand during internal meetings and external outreach

Iva Kovacic

Research Assistant
Research Assistant in charge of planning and executing lab experiments. Receiving & storing samples, DNA & RNA extraction, preparation of libraries for different types of sequencing (Pacbio, Illumina, HiC, Nanopore), quality control of all samples

Sarah Mak

Hi-C and Transcriptome Manager
Responsible for the implementation of extractions and library preparation protocols for generating Hi-C, transcriptome and Nanopore Sequencing data.

Sergei Kliver

Genome bionformatician
Assembling and analyzing all Yggdrasil genomes.

Joseph Nesme

PacBio Manager
Research Manager of PacBio Sequel2e platform. Responsible for the implementation of high-molecular weight DNA extractions and library preparation protocols for long and highly accurate PacBio HiFi reads sequencing production and delivery.

Bent Petersen

HPC Manager and Bioinformatician
Responsible for the computational infrastructure, data management, data automation and website development.
